J.T. Was Right
I used to have dreams, unspoken but beautiful
Helping me let go of all the broken memories
A place where my broken heart, my broken home were forgotten sceneries
My visions built on sand a way to flee reality, fuck reality
Counting days collecting visions, abusing drugs, making wrong decisions, knowing neither what the future would bring nor how our lives would turn out
But as times are changing, our heroes are fading (away)
Even our visions are changing and so are we
We shall never dare to ignore our history, the foundation of our lives
Every moment of misery brings us one step closer to rebellion
What I have done, what I have become
It’s the utopian visions that have made me overcome reality
Let’s change reality
Counting days collecting visions, abusing drugs, making wrong decisions, knowing neither what those heroes would bring nor what their promises were about
But as times are changing, our heroes are fading (away)
Even our visions are changing and so are we
We shall never dare to ignore our history, the foundation of our lives
Every moment of misery brings us one step closer to rebellion
We’ve got so much to say, but no words can express our ideas in any way
Therefore we’ll take action
We live in an unscripted reality, don’t need heroes dictating a dream, we’re the heroes living our visions

No Diagnosis, No Separation
In my dreams, my dear, I bathe in salvation, not wasting a tear on death tolls and starvation, finding happiness through embodied imagination
As I wake up there is fear
As I wake up there’s frustration
No one gets me out of here
The troubles, they won’t disappear
When the alarm goes off, I slip back into depression
The tick of the clock reminds me of my broken heart
It’s the weight of the world pushing down on my shoulders
The challenge of my daily life
Facing reality is a daily strife
Then my life turns upside down
Then my life turns inside out
I can leave everything behind
In the here and now, no one can distract me
I don’t feel any fear, no one can stop me
No more guilt, no more repression
This life is a rollercoaster
My emotions go up and down
Doctors say I’m manic
I can tell you they are wrong
Not every mood swing requires medication
We must constantly question what’s normal and what’s not
No diagnosis can separate us into healthy and sick
The challenge of our daily lives
It keeps us, it keeps us alive

I Still Love You, Anne R. Key
I first met you at a punk rock show
And I knew that you were the one
Tried to impress with what I had
And everything that I once knew
I was stunned by your movement
And the world-changing ideas
You made me look on the bright side
But (also) kept the issues on my mind
It was love, what a word
You gave reason to my life
Ignorant people tried to stop
The revolution we had started
I will never let you go
I will always be there for you
There were days when it wasn’t easy
There were days when you made me cry
I tried to follow your lead
But I was weak and caved in
I often wondered if we’d have a future
Wanted the easy way of life
But who needs easy without passion
I need passion in my life
It is love now grown up
You’re the passion in my life
No reaction can stop us
You’re always on my mind
I will never let you go
I will always be there for you
I still love you, Anne R. Key

Don't Kill My Vibe

Don’t Kill My Vibe
Never have I seen someone shining so bright, shining bright like you
Every single second I doubted this shining was true
Your absence made me realize that I was blinded
It was a mystery, you left me not knowing how to solve it
I was waiting for another sign like I was waiting for your call
I never wanted to stand here in line and smash my head against the wall
You left me standing in the rain
When the sky had cleared up I knew you were my bane
Your ambiguity caused all my pain
I never ever want to see you again
I hate you for stealing my sleep
I hate that I can’t get you out of my mind
I hate you for messing up my life
All I want is to have you here by my side
I hate you ‘cause I love you
I love you ‘cause I hate you
I need to bring this to an end
The last thing I need is another friend
I need to bring this to an end
I’d rather be alone than imprisoned
Never have I seen someone shining so bright, shining bright like you
After all these moments, I know that I was wrong about you

Never Leave Our Side
Be the wind in our sails, be the sand under our feet, be the ocean, be the tide, promise never to leave our side
The weight of the world was dragging you down
While we didn’t see you were about to drown
In a sea of lies, tired of keeping up the façade
You felt unable to change, change was too fucking hard
Eyes half open, blinded by the light
Good times, everything seemed right
We didn’t see the black cloud lingering above your head
We felt the warmth, but we didn’t see you burn
Be the wind in our sails, be the sand under our feet, be the ocean, be the tide, promise never to leave our side
In a sea of lies, tired of keeping up the façade
You felt unable to change, change was too fucking hard
Eyes half open, blinded by the light
Good times, everything seemed right
We didn’t see the black cloud lingering above your head
We felt the warmth, but we didn’t see you burn
